Job Summary
Assess and reassess the health care needs of orthopedic, spine, and low-level cardiac patients on a 32-bed unit. Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, then implement evidence-based interventions guided by current policy. Evaluate patient outcomes and discharge needs while coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Maintain current Oklahoma RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification throughout employment. New grads must complete the Nurse Residency Program. Night, weekend, and evening differentials apply.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) retraining
- Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program
