Job Summary
Assess and reassess the health care needs of orthopedic, spine, and low-level cardiac patients on a 32-bed unit. Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, then implement evidence-based interventions to achieve care goals. Evaluate patient outcomes and discharge needs while coordinating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Maintain current Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure and Basic Life Support certification, completing the Nurse Residency Program if new to the team. This 32-bed Ortho/Spine unit specializes in hip and knee replacements, fractures, and shoulder/ankle patients, offering a center of excellence environment with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) retraining
