Job Summary
Assess and reassess the health care needs of orthopedic, cardiac, and med-surg patients; analyze findings to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes. Provide nursing care through evidence-based interventions to achieve patient goals, while evaluating discharge needs and utilizing critical thinking to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions. Maintain current Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure and Basic Life Support training, completing the Nurse Residency Program if a new grad. Join a 32-bed unit certified by the Joint Commission for Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, and Hip Fx patients, with evening, night, and weekend differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) retraining
- Nurse Residency Program
