Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho Spine and Bariatrics

Deliver competent nursing care using the critical thinking model and nursing process standards for high-acuity surgical patients on the 24-bed Ortho/Spine/Bariatrics unit. Manage an average of 6 to 8 patient discharges per shift within a 1:5 or 1:6 staffing ratio, supported by Patient Care Technicians for ambulation and lab tasks. Coordinate care, implement teaching and health promotion, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with surgeons, unit coordinators, and preceptors.
