Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care (Step down) – The Jewish Hospital responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in the Progressive Care/Step-down unit, serving as the liaison between Med-Surg and ICU, and developing care plans while ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments, coordinating care across departments, creating and evaluating plans of care, administering medications safely, and participating in quality improvement efforts. Requires RN licensure; BLS is required and ACLS is preferred with ACLS required within 6 months of hire. Education: BSN preferred but not required. Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting; 6 months in an RN role in acute care is preferred.
