Job Summary
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyze data, and develop care plans to enhance outcomes in the Ortho Neuro Progressive Care Unit. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across Med-Surg and ICU units while acting as a patient safety advocate for quality improvement. Administer medications safely and evaluate treatment effectiveness to ensure a therapeutic environment. Work nights with a 36-hour weekly schedule. This role supports Mercy Health's mission of enhancing well-being through compassion and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)
- BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care, ACLS required within 6 months of hire)
