Job Summary
Coordinate patient care activities for the clinic while performing general nursing care, administering prescribed medications, and preparing equipment for procedures. Screen patients for health history and vitals, greet individuals, and ensure timely appointment scheduling with emergency preferences. Educate patients on diagnostic processes and medications, respond to phone calls, and document assessments in patient charts. Maintain exam rooms, manage medical supply lists, and perform quality control on pathology specimens. Oversee patient flow and report condition changes to the provider.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
