Job Summary
Delivers nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing objectives, defining interventions, and providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Coordinates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, documents care plans and patient status, educates patients and families on conditions and self-care, ensures infection-control and safety standards, and maintains supplies and equipment. Roles include flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within a brand-new behavioral health unit staffed by doctors, nurses, behavioral health techs, counselors, and social workers.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of practice
- Ability to work rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Clinical nursing experience (preferred 1-3 years)
