Job Summary
Deliver professional nursing care under provider direction by administering medications, coordinating clinic activities, and preparing equipment for procedures. Screen patients for health history and vitals, greet them for examinations, and document findings in patient charts. Educate families on diagnostic processes and medications while responding to phone calls and managing emergency appointment preferences. Maintain exam room cleanliness, prepare medical supply lists, and ensure pathology specimens are labeled per lab protocol. Perform quality control on lab testing and report patient reactions to treatments. Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with Thursday afternoon off.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- The ability to work the hours specified
