Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with the surgical team to define, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Administer medications adhering to the five rights and surgical services policies while maintaining aseptic technique during procedures. Perform scrub duties, manage instrument counts, and process specimens accurately. Document the nursing process and patient responses in a timely manner. Provide accurate condition reports for safe care transfers and function autonomously under stressful situations. Requires a Registered Nurse license in Connecticut, CPR certification, and surgical experience including C-sections assistance.
