Job Summary
Develop patient care plans using the nursing process to address physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs under Nurse Manager supervision. Utilize evidence-based practices and the State Nurse Practice Act to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Maintain IV skills and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures while working with strong support teams. Requires current CT RN licensure, BLS certification, and acute care hospital experience. On-call rotation required.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess current CT RN licensure
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently certified in BLS
- Completion of BLS within the first three months of employment
- ACLS certification for ED, CCU, and designated staff in ACU/PACU and Endo
- NNR certification for OB
Desired Qualifications
- National certification in specialty
- Acute care hospital experience
- IV skill
- Secondary language skills
- ACLS certification for staff cross trained to ED, CCU, ACU/PACU, and Endo areas
