Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Conduct direct and indirect patient care in the OR General Surgery area using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient and provide appropriate support for family members while directing ancillary staff. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain patient confidentiality, addressing age-appropriate needs for comfort, privacy, and generalized care. Complete annual competency requirements specific to the assigned area of responsibility. Work four 8-hour shifts per week with an on-call rotation consisting of typically one overnight per week and one weekend every 7-8 weeks.
