Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Assess, plan, intervene, document, and evaluate patients using the nursing process to provide direct and indirect care based on assigned areas. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient while directing ancillary staff and ensuring customer satisfaction for patients, families, and physicians. Maintain patient confidentiality and address age-specific needs for comfort, privacy, and generalized care. Complete annual competency requirements specific to your area of responsibility. This role involves working within a 122-bed general acute care hospital serving Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut.
