Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Conduct direct and indirect patient care in the OR General Surgery unit using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient while providing appropriate support to family members. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain patient confidentiality while directing ancillary staff based on assigned areas of responsibility. Complete annual competency requirements specific to the area of responsibility. Work four 8-hour shifts per week with an on-call rotation consisting of typically one overnight per week and weekend on-call rotation every 7-8 weeks.
