Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Conduct direct and indirect patient care in the OR General Surgery unit using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, document, and evaluate age-appropriate needs. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient while providing support to family members and directing ancillary staff based on assigned areas. Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain patient confidentiality, and address specific comfort, privacy, and generalized care needs for all patients. Follow department philosophies, policies, and procedures to meet annual competency requirements. Work four 8-hour shifts per week with on-call rotation including one overnight and weekend coverage every 7-8 weeks.
