Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Assess, plan, intervene, document, and evaluate patients using the nursing process to provide direct and indirect care based on assigned areas. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient while providing appropriate support to family members. Utilize clinical judgment to direct ancillary staff and ensure customer satisfaction regarding patient, family, and physician needs. Maintain patient confidentiality and address age-specific requirements for comfort, privacy, and generalized care. Complete annual competency requirements specific to the area of responsibility. This role involves 4 eight-hour shifts per week with an on-call rotation including one overnight per week and weekend coverage every seven to eight weeks.
