Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Registered Nurse in the OR General Surgery at Backus Hospital under Nurse Manager supervision. Provides patient-centered care using the nursing process to develop a plan of care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families. Works within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and adheres to the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Preferred qualifications include BSN/MSN and CNOR certification; must maintain CT RN licensure and BLS; opportunity for sign-on bonus; location is Connecticut with on-site responsibilities at Backus Hospital facilities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with multiple departments, and support a culture of safety and high-quality care.
