Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (ENT/Plastics) at Mercy Cedar Rapids. Full-time 40 hours/week with Day/Evening shifts, call every 7th weekend and rotating holidays, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Open to new grads with a comprehensive orientation and mentorship program. OR team covers Orthopedics, Neuro, General, ENT/Plastics, Open Heart, and more; 24/7 operations with a department focused on patient-centered care, effective communication, safety, and collaboration. Requires Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (preferred), Iowa RN license (or compact state), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire. Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Iowa or compact state required
- Current certification in Basic Life Support, in accordance with the American Heart Association required
- Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required
