Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room providing patient assessments, nursing interventions, and post-procedure/recovery care across OR services (General Surgery, Urology, GYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Cataract). Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient education, and advocacy. Role features 8-hour shifts with night, weekend, and holiday call; requires current state RN license and degree from an accredited nursing school. BLS within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months. Preferred certifications TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN; one year of experience preferred. On-call room available and must reside within 30 minutes or stay onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire
- PALS certification required within six months of hire
Additional Requirements
- Must reside within a 30-minute radius for call or stay onsite
