Job Summary
Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator in a full-time role delivering patient care through the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Responsibilities include assessing patient status and pain, documenting information, preparing and coordinating care with the surgical team, maintaining aseptic technique, assisting with surgical case counts, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs while ensuring compliance with relevant nursing standards and policies. Requires an associate degree, IL RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and two years of OR circulating experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License - IL
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
- Two years of operating room circulating experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
