Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room performing both scrub and circulating roles within a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center. Rotating shifts with on-call, weekend and holiday coverage; 30-minute on-call response. Role supports diverse surgical services (general, colorectal, gynecology, urology, oncology, endocrine) and requires patient-centered care, critical thinking, and collaboration across disciplines. Responsibilities include holistic patient assessments, developing and revising individualized care plans using evidence-based interventions, patient and family education with teach-back, and effective communication during rounds and handoffs. Must hold or obtain BSN within five years, and maintain Michigan RN licensure; BLS is required. Opportunities for growth, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- BSN degree or agreement to obtain BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role
- Current Michigan Nursing License
- BLS REQUIRED
