Job Summary
Coordinate pre‐operative and post‐operative patient assessments and prepare the operating room with sterile equipment. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures, intervening as needed, while collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to execute surgical plans. Document patient care accurately in electronic health records. This 13-week travel/contract position in Greensboro, NC offers premium pay at 13% above market average, including comprehensive insurance from day one, paid housing, and guaranteed hours. Candidates must hold a valid NC RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of hospital-based nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based nursing experience
- Ability to work multiple shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior surgical or perioperative experience (preferred)
- Strong electronic documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
