Job Summary
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including circulating and scrubbing duties, while maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care, monitor status, and respond promptly to intraoperative needs. Assist in preparing surgical equipment, supplies, and sterile fields for various cases across multiple service lines. Document all procedures, patient information, and perioperative metrics accurately using facility-specific EMR systems. Requires at least one year of operating room nursing experience, BLS certification, and a valid North Carolina RN license. Offers 13 weeks of travel in Greensboro with premium pay rates 13% above market average, comprehensive insurance, and paid housing or stipends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Current RN license in North Carolina
- BLS certification
- Active state‐issued driver's license
- At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience, including circulating and scrubbing roles
- Strong proficiency in sterile techniques
- Experience covering multiple service lines in the operating room
- Ability to adapt in fast‐paced environments
- Excellent communication skills
