Registered Nurse RN Operating Room

Join our team as a Registered Nurse OR at Research Medical Center. Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing patient and family education about the peri-operative process, preparing patients (IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification), conducting surgical site verification and time-out protocols, recognizing emergencies, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process with critical thinking and leadership, monitoring patient condition during shifts, and educating patients/families about medical conditions and follow-up care. On-call is required during select non-business hours. The role supports surgical patients in the Operating Room with focus on safety, workflow efficiency, and evidence-based practice.
