Registered Nurse RN Operating Room

Registered Nurse OR at Research Medical Center (HCA Healthcare) responsible for evaluating patients prior to surgery, providing perioperative patient and family education, preparing patients (IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification), participating in surgical site verification and universal protocols, recognizing/responding to emergencies, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and collaborating with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to ensure safe nursing care and efficient workflow in the operating room. On-call is required during select non-business hours; expects adherence to nursing processes, critical thinking, and leadership in perioperative care.
