Registered Nurse RN Operating Room

Provide preoperative and intraoperative nursing care in the Operating Room (OR). Responsibilities include evaluating patients prior to surgery, delivering perioperative education to patients and families, managing intravenous therapy and preoperative medications, and performing surgical site verification and time-out/debriefing per hospital policy. Work as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices and contributing to continuous improvement. Maintain patient safety and workflow efficiency, monitor patient condition throughout the shift, and educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up. Scheduling is posted four weeks in advance for predictable rotations, and on-call is required during select non-business hours.
