Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) is responsible for safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing duties, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, preparing for surgeries, supporting patient needs, and collaborating with the surgical team. Candidates must possess an RN license, 1-2 years of relevant experience, and CPR certification. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Must maintain patient privacy and comfort, manage multiple tasks, and document care activities per policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- RN license required
- 1-2 years of experience working in an outpatient surgery, OR, ER, or ICU required
- CPR Certification required
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience collaborating across multiple functions
- Experience innovating in a fast-growing work environment and dealing with ambiguity
