Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage the Operating Room nursing team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. Oversee unit operations, patient assignments and bed staffing, daily rounding, staff development, and coordination of quality initiatives. Provide clinical leadership to ensure safe, evidence-based, high-quality patient care, drive staff engagement, and manage budget/resource needs. Role requires leadership experience, a BSN, active RN license in Arizona, and BLS certification. Scheduling includes a full-time weekend day shift (Friday–Sunday) with call and differential considerations; facilities include 24 OR suites, including Hybrid, DaVinci, and MIS rooms. This role emphasizes organizational leadership, collaboration with physicians and staff, and opportunities to influence patient outcomes and unit performance.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Current RN license in state of practice (Arizona)
- BLS Required
- Must possess at least 1-2 years of clinical experience relevant to patient population
- New Leader Experience certification within one year
