Job Summary
Coordinate comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for surgical cases across General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and other specialties. Lead the interdependent team to achieve patient and unit outcomes while developing individualized education plans for patients and families. Monitor progress, modify care plans as needed, and actively participate in creating point-of-care improvements to enhance clinical quality, safety, and efficiency. Communicate effectively with physicians, the team, and families regarding the plan of care while adhering to regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and infection control practices.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid RN Licensure from MN Board of Nursing
- Associate degree RN or BSN with OR RN experience
- BSN RN preferred with 2 years of OR RN experience
- RN with current hospital experience and successful completion of Peri-op 101 course
- New Grad RN with 3 years of Clinical OR experience
- Graduate of School of Nursing with successful completion of NCLEX prior to start date
- Associate Degree with letter of acceptance to BSN program within 6-12 months of start date as RN
Desired Qualifications
- BSN RN preferred with 2 years of OR RN experience
