Job Summary
Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgeries including general, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic trauma, plastics, robotic, and pediatrics. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for patients through safety interventions and support. Requires 1+ years of Main Operating Room experience, a BSN degree, and a New York RN license with BLS certification. CNOR preferred. Good Samaritan University Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, offers a sign-on bonus and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Main Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) experience
- Completion of a Periop 101 course or equivalent perioperative fellowship/residency
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Passion for Perioperative Services
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
- CNOR
