Job Summary
Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, radiation, gynecologic cancers, hematologic disorders, and end-of-life needs. Provide teaching, health promotion, and coordination of care within a 26-bed oncology unit specializing in tertiary services. Work full-time nights (36 hours) as part of the 2S Oncology team at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- ADN
- BSN or higher
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experienced RN
- New grad
