Job Summary
Delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection, assessment, and evaluation of outcomes. Coordinates patient teaching activities and directs care provided by health team members. Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, analyzes data, creates care plans, and implements treatments while evaluating effectiveness. Administers medications safely and serves as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments. Acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Requires a valid nursing license, BLS certification, and 36 weekly evening/night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Basic Life Support
- Valid nursing license from the state of practice
- Associate of Nursing, nursing
- Diploma in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
