Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology in Oncology 8W at Mercy Hospital South. Full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours/week, on a unit serving patients undergoing chemotherapy, cancer treatment, and end-of-life care. Provides nursing care using the nursing process, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, coordinates patient care with other departments, and supports oncology patients with symptom management and care planning. Requires Missouri RN licensure (or compact) and BLS; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonuses available for experienced and new graduate nurses. Mehlville, MO location with Mercy benefits including loans and tuition assistance in the Education & Loan Assistance program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience: hospital experience preferred depending on unit
- Certification preferences: BSN preferred and state licensure augmentation preferred
