Job Summary
Per diem RN in the Oncology Infusion Center providing outpatient infusion care, including coordination with the care team, administering medications per protocol, documenting in EHR, and participating in Saturday rotations and Sunday on-call for antibiotic patients; requires BLS, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification within 30 days if not already certified, and a BSN preferred with 1 year of clinical nursing experience; multiple Advocate Health campuses in Illinois listed with in-person on-site expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) where practicing
- BSN preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certificate required within 30 days if not already certified
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Knowledge of ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and computer systems
