Job Summary
Conduct chemotherapy infusions and administer prescribed medications while maintaining IV access and monitoring patient reactions. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, collect vital signs, and document health data for new and ongoing clients. Coordinate clinic patient flow, screen patients for appointments, and triage incoming calls or emergent visits with provider input. Provide individualized education on medications, treatments, and wellness, while ensuring infection control and maintaining exam room supplies. Back up the Radiation/Oncology clinic nurse during day shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., utilizing Meditech and Mosaiq software to manage records and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society
- Upon Hire
