Job Summary
RN Oncology – Acute Care position within Wellstar’s oncology unit supports an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality, evidence-based patient care. The RN Clinical Nurse is expected to uphold the voice of the patient, adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, and apply the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and ethical standards while delivering compassionate care to oncology patients and their families. Required minimum education includes an Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma, with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; licensure as an RN (Georgia or multi-state compact) and BLS certification are required upon hire. The role emphasizes clinical hours and patient-care competencies within a growing, high-impact unit.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in Georgia or Compact licensure (RN-COMPACT)
- Active RN license (Georgia or multi-state compact)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or approved equivalent
