Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Oncology – Acute Care opportunities in Wellstar’s Georgia system. The RN Clinical Nurse participates in an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical setting governed by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and supported by evidence-based practice. Requires active RN licensure (GA or Compact), BLS certification, and completion of an approved nursing program with required clinical hours. The role supports patient families and adheres to the standards of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics; prior oncology or acute-care experience is preferred. Positions emphasize collaboration with nurse managers and a shared governance framework to promote service excellence and compassionate care.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia or Multi-state Compact (RN-COMPACT)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Completion of accredited nursing program (Associates, Diploma, or Bachelors) with required clinical hours
- Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Nursing roles governed by Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics Standards
