Job Summary
Conduct individualized, high-quality, safe patient care for patients, families, and significant others within the Oncology unit at Yellow Tower, Wellstar Kennestone. Practice under the Wellstar Shared Governance Model and the Professional Practice Model, adhering to evidence-based research and Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards. Uphold patient voice, system policies, and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. Maintain RN licensure, BLS certification, and implement scope of practice guidelines to support service excellence goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing
- Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required
