Registered Nurse (RN) – Older Adult Behavioral Health | Per Diem

Job Summary
Assess, plan, and implement psychiatric and behavioral nursing care for individuals with serious mental illness in a structured, therapeutic environment. Conduct health assessments, screenings, and crisis interventions while supervising Behavioral Health Technicians and supporting group and individual therapeutic interventions. Document observations and interventions accurately in the Electronic Health Record and collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. Maintain infection control standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and serve as charge nurse when designated. Complete a mandatory 5-day orientation Monday through Friday before starting your per diem schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania RN license
- CPR certification
- 3 to 5 years of behavioral health nursing experience
- Must meet requirements under Pennsylvania Older Adults Protective Services Act (Act 169)
- Successful completion of orientation and required certifications
- Must be able to attend a mandatory 5-day orientation Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM before starting their schedule
Desired Qualifications
