Job Summary
Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor patients for 24–48 hours to assess condition and determine admission or discharge needs. Document patient care, communicate status to providers and families, and assist with activities of daily living. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, referrals, and psychosocial support while evaluating patient and family learning needs. Advocate for physical and emotional well-being in a fast-paced environment combining emergency depth with inpatient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
- 5 x 12-hour shifts
- Nights (7p-7a) schedule
- Rotating weekends and holidays
