Job Summary
Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, and discharge planning. Evaluate patient and family learning needs to provide appropriate education and advocate for physical and emotional well-being. Requires current Michigan RN license, one-year medical surgical experience, and OB experience or qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- One-year medical surgical experience
- Annual influenza vaccination or declination
