Conduct thorough assessments of patient or resident health status, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Develop individualized care plans and administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols. Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and respiratory treatments while monitoring patient responses and vital signs. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide patient advocacy by communicating effectively with families and the interdisciplinary team.
