Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patient or resident health status, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies. Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and respiratory treatments while providing patient and family education on medications and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and respond promptly to medical emergencies with life-saving interventions. Advocate for patient rights and needs, participating in care conferences to discuss progress and adjust plans as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
