Job Summary
Accurately perform patient assessments, identify needs, and initiate appropriate nursing interventions for newborns greater than 32 weeks' gestation. Provide care tailored to the condition and age of each patient, perform timely documentation, and complete or revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan. Conduct QI assessments and maintain medical records reflecting medical necessity. Requires a current state RN license, accredited nursing degree, one year of nursery experience, and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Schedule includes variable nights (7P-7A).
