Registered Nurse (RN)- Nurse Resident, September 2026, Neuroscinece Med-Surg

Conduct nursing assessments, collect patient data, and develop care plans under the direct supervision of a licensed RN in the Neuroscience Med-Surg unit. Manage clinical situations, perform prescribed treatments, and provide discharge teaching while adhering to infection control and medication administration policies. Document patient care variations, monitor unsafe conditions, and participate in quality improvement processes as assigned. Complete all clinical competencies, validation requirements, and professional development workshops for the Nurse Residency Program. Variable shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital; ADN or BSN required with NCLEX completion prior to licensure.
