Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, collect patient data, and develop care plans under direct supervision of a licensed RN while adhering to infection control and medication administration policies. Manage clinical situations, perform treatments, provide discharge teaching, and monitor unsafe working conditions as assigned. Complete all quality and core curriculum classes, participate in professional development workshops, and successfully validate clinical competencies within the Nurse Residency Program. Work in the Adult Multispecialty Services Med/Surg unit at Baptist Hospital, reporting to the Clinical Education Team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing", "Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing", "Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working", "NCLEX testing date provided prior to hire", "Passing score on NCLEX", "Graduate prior to October 15, 2026
