Job Summary
Manage and lead a specific nursing unit by evaluating resources, delegating tasks, and directing the nursing process to ensure quality care outcomes. Collect and analyze resident data to develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans while supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Provide clinical nursing practice including medication administration, lab draws, and procedures in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. Maintain accurate resident records, communicate care needs and physician orders effectively, and ensure strict adherence to medication and controlled substance procedures. Promote a positive workplace culture, participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education, and maintain current licensure and knowledge of health regulations.
Required Qualifications
- current registration, as a Registered Nurse, in the State of Minnesota
- successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community
- Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree
