Job Summary
Manage and lead a specific nursing unit by evaluating resources, delegating tasks, and directing the nursing process including systematic data collection, assessment, care plan development, and revision. Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while ensuring safe staffing, correcting unprofessional behavior, and providing guidance during emergencies. Provide and oversee clinical nursing care in accordance with state regulations and facility policies, including medication administration and lab draws. Collect and analyze resident data to develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring and revising plans as conditions change. Maintain accurate resident records and communicate care needs, physician orders, and dietary recommendations effectively to staff.
Required Qualifications
- current registration, as a Registered Nurse, in the State of Minnesota
- successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community
- Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree
