Job Summary
Manage and lead a specific nursing unit by evaluating resources, delegating tasks, and directing the nursing process including data collection, care plan development, and revision. Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure safe staffing, correct unprofessional behavior, and provide guidance during emergencies or on-call rotations. Provide and supervise nursing care in accordance with state regulations and facility policies, including medication administration and lab draws. Collect and analyze resident data to develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, while maintaining accurate records and communicating care needs effectively.
Required Qualifications
- current registration, as a Registered Nurse, in the State of Minnesota
- successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community
- Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree
