Job Summary
Coaches and mentors nurse leaders on student programs and evidence-based practices to ensure program sustainability and optimal outcomes. Develops action plans with nurse leaders to implement nursing student initiatives across the Prisma Health enterprise and identifies barriers for communication through leadership channels. Reviews and evaluates assigned program areas to determine compatibility with academic health center objectives and priorities. Collaborates with Nurse Executives to plan strategic initiatives and spread nursing best practices within the division. Assists in developing ready-to-work programs for nursing students to increase hires and provide patient care experiences. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, five years of nursing leadership experience, and a current RN compact/multistate license. Full-time day shift at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years nursing leadership experience with a broad knowledge in clinical leadership functions
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
- Competent in Evidence Based Leadership (EBL) practices
- LEAN and CAP skills
- Effective at data conversion
